Study of 3D printing materials as potential applications of phantom radiology

Abstract This paper reports the results of study 3D printing materials applied as phantom radiology, which is an imitation human body tissue for medical radiology purposes. The types were ABS, PETG, flexible TPU, Wood and PLA resin. Each them was printed using into sample 30 mm x 9 mm. samples then tested Siemens CT-Scan machine. Radiant Dicom Viewers Micro software used to process data determine amount CT number. number values fleksible resin filaments -680,00 HU; -641,17 -685,62 -690,00 HU 133,00 HU. electron density 0,32; 0,36; 0,31; 0,31 1,12. These two confirmed Gammex 467 Tissue Characterization Phantom. found that Wood, PETG FLEX had potential lung materials. However fleksibel TPU filament has greatest because it closest CT-number value.
